Sunday Recap & Planning + News @ Erin Condren

I plan my weeks in advance as much as I can so when I am very busy I have something to fall back on and make decisions ‘for me’. You know how by 2pm you’re already mentally exhausted from thinking what to make for dinner, making routes in your mind from work to the best shop for that mean and then home. This is what I avoid! Me loves some structure.

This doesn’t mean that I always manage to follow the plan (*gazes downwards as she spent the whole day hungover and extremely unproductive*), but hey, it’s the thought that counts, right?

Last week was supposed to be the week where I get my sh*t* together and get my bum to bmZijmA
the gym so it would have an appropriate shape for the bikini. Well, instead I have spent most of the days on my couch completely hooked on Grey’s Anatomy. And I mean completely.  I have been known for binge watching things to the point where I forget to sleep and socialize (who has time for real friends?) I never forget to eat though, that would be too good. I did manage to go swimming for an hour, resulting in me being arm-disabled (any IT Crowd fans out there?) for 1 day afterwards. #soinshape

I start my new job tomorrow (send good vibes!) and so that’s an excuse for some new beginnings and hopefully more productive days. I stopped puking all of the colours from the rainbow into one page and I love it so much more! I am not too sure why I was sticking anything that sticks on the pages, that’s some bad influence from other people, but this is obviously a personal preference. I am attempting a more minimalistic approach and also adding tick boxes, it’s so silly but I love ticking these, it literally motivates me to complete the task just so I could do it. Motivation at it’s best. Whatever works for you, right? Speaking of, do let me know what works for you!

For the next planner EC is releasing the neutral planner that will look something like this –>

I am so bloody excited, as much as I love colours I would much rather have the neutral setting that would not intervene with whatever I want to do with that week. This is much more me. Eeeeek!

As well as offering leather-like covers!

I hope you guys are going to have a brilliant week ahead of you and I will speak to you soon!

Saturday on wednesday

Hey there! Welcome to my Everything Blog. You know those lovely organised people who have a niche? Well that's not me, my blog is just like my mind, jumping from one thought to another. Sorry (but not too sorry). I have a degree in Psychology and am a proud owner of two amazing kittens Zeus and Momo, although thoroughly a dog person! I love cooking, I surely love eating, reading and exploring. I have created this blog with hope that I can lighten up the mid-week Wednesday with some Saturday chill vibes. Hopefully you enjoy your Saturdays On Wednesdays as much as I enjoy mine. With Love, G xoxo

  1. I’m just about done sorting my bestie’s hen party (it’s this coming weekend) and I am all about the lists and ticking things off.
I love your planner. I want! My plans are all digital nowadays.
Also good luck for your new job!

    1. Thank you! Yeah, I don’t do well without planning, I have found that having a personal planner and work/study planner separately helps me a lot! Plus my work planner is all simple and professional, so nobody will think I am childish if I bring this to work haha So I can keep my crazy at home x

  2. Lists and check boxes are the BEST way to motivate me, I have a list book with me 24/7 just to list what I am doing with my day, things as simple as ‘pack lunch’ and ‘walk the dogs’ go on there, just so I can check them off and give myself a massive false sense of productivity. I love a good list! I’m on the look out for a new planner with an integrated list book, you know, so I can double up my lists and make myself feel even better about how lazy I am! xxx

    1. I totally agree! Whenever I have a massive flat cleaning coming up instead of just putting ‘clean the flat’ I would separate it into a ridiculous amount of little steps such as ‘drawer 1’ just so I could ‘complete’ it haha xxx
