Papergang May 2016

My first Papergang box arrived yesterday!

When I wait for all my boxes and am overly critical towards them! Honestly, I am very happy and usually really excited when I get them, but one must be cruel to be just!

If you are new to my reviews – Welcome! None of this is sponsored. I also rate things with my kittens. I hope you enjoy it!

Momo momo.png for negative score

Zeus Untitled for positive

None if this is reflective of their personalities! I love both of my shittens. If you want to see more of them you can find it on my Instagram @SaturdayonWednesday

I have been introduced to this by Jade (thanks!!) but was a bit afraid that I will not like it regardless of my love to stationery, as I am a bit picky about it. Let’s be honest, I am picky about most things as you probably gathered by now. I’m not proud of it, but it is what it is. I am really happy to say that I really like it! Let’s get into it.

I pay £9.66 for Papergang on a 3 month subscription                                          The products in this box came to £18.35

I literally have a photo of a big mama crane scissors that look exactly the same on my phone from when I visited Anthropology but couldn’t afford anything. So safe to say I was really happy to see the baby version of those in this box! How cute. Not sure what I will use those for but regardless, very decorative. Yay.

Why just 2 you ask? Well I really found those pretty and I thought to myself ‘I’ve needed pencils actually!’ when everyone knows that the truth is I can definitely do without, but you know the struggle of wanting everything. So I was really excited when I saw these, shamefully it was the case of constantly sharpening these to no effect as these would just snap (just like my life. Morbid) :(. Such a shame. I think I got the mustard one fine, but I sharpened half of the blue one away and then just gave up on it.

Look at that. And still not functional.

A4ish Kew Cacti (what the…?)

I give this 4 (again!) Curiously Supportive Zeuses

These designs are right up my valley at the moment, anything that’s still sorts of adorable but not over the top colourful is what I’m into. This feels like it’s much more expensive than it is, such a soft cover that also looks quite sturdy. The only thing I am a bit meh is that it has squared pages. Which is fine, the last time I went for those was back in high school for my math classes. Quite a while ago. Look at me being all grown up. But I will find a use for it, I’m sure. Not that small either.

I literally needed one of these as my previous one just ran out. It’s so much prettier as well. It’s a definite win. I realise I just got lucky, but to be fair, can you have too many of the list pads? No. The right answer is no, and don’t you dare say yes. It’s also magnetic if you decide that this belongs on the fridge. I wish I would be that organised, I tried it but it didn’t work out for me. I can see the appeal though, writing things down as you notice you’re out of milk etc. Has anyone mastered this? How?

I am not a person who uses cards in general, but if I ever would it would look something like this. Also I would never buy one for £2.50, and guess what, now I don’t have to. So it’s always handy to have one ready.

Something extra

Even the actual box it came with could be made into a bunny! Granted my origami skills are not the best so mine came out a bit disabled, but there’s no judging hare <– get it? Puns for life.

I bloody loved it. It was sweet, not too in your face-colours everywhere that you cannot handle it anymore. Products were obviously full sized and the value was good. The items are reasonably priced if you decided you want to repurchased, but they were on the verge that you maybe would think twice before buying it, which is okay since you didn’t pay the full price for these. All in all, I am not disappointed and I will use every item. Okay, maybe not the bunny. Sorry bunny. The only fault in this was the pencil, but that’s kind of to be expected when you post out something like this.

I believe the box was:

If you like this and want to spoil yourself too, please use my referral link. I don’t think you get a discount, but every 2 friends that I refer I get a free box sent to me. So it’s a nice thing to do. And everyone likes nice people. Be nice.

What are your thoughts on the box? Did you receive it and did you like your products? Let me know in the comments!

I hope you have a brilliant week!

Hey there! Welcome to my Everything Blog. You know those lovely organised people who have a niche? Well that's not me, my blog is just like my mind, jumping from one thought to another. Sorry (but not too sorry). I have a degree in Psychology and am a proud owner of two amazing kittens Zeus and Momo, although thoroughly a dog person! I love cooking, I surely love eating, reading and exploring. I have created this blog with hope that I can lighten up the mid-week Wednesday with some Saturday chill vibes. Hopefully you enjoy your Saturdays On Wednesdays as much as I enjoy mine. With Love, G xoxo

  1. I’m so happy that you liked it! I would feel so guilty if you subscribed because of me and then hated it, but that didn’t happen, so yay! Your little hare is so cute, doen’t look disabled to me, I haven’t made mine yet, but I think I’m about to now, and will cut it out with my tiny crane scissors!
